The eyes of European football fans are beginning to focus on next year's UEFA EURO 2024™ in Germany.
Having last hosted a major international football competition in 2006, Germany will once again host one of football’s biggest tournaments, as the top nations from across Europe face off in a month-long football feast starting on June 14, 2024.

Key dates to keep in mind
The 17th edition of the UEFA European Football Championship will begin on June 14, 2024 and will see 24 Teams compete for a month to try and emulate the current holders, Italy.
But before then, 53 Teams will look to secure their place at the tournament during the qualifying phase, also known as the group stage. The group stages will be played over 10 matchdays, beginning on March 23, 2023 and ending on November 21 of the same year. The winners and runners-up from the ten groups will secure automatic qualification. Three more slots will be available via the play-offs. The play-off Semi Finals and Finals will be played on March 21 and 26, 2024 respectively, after a draw in December 2023.

UEFA EURO 2024™ will kick off on Friday, June 14 at the Munich Football Arena, where host nation Germany will play the Opening Match.
As for the rest of the schedule, the group stages will conclude on Wednesday, June 26, with the round of 16 being played from June 29 to July 2, before the Quarter-Finals on July 5 and July 6. The Semi-Finals will then be played on July 9 and July 10, before the Final on July 14 at 21:00 (CET) at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
